FAQs

So what does packaging-as-a-service actually mean?
01

What's the deal with reusable packaging-as-a-service?

Instead of bulk-buying single-use bags to ship your stuff, you rent your durable, reusable Sendala Satchels from us. When they reach the end of their lifespan (many loops later), we’ll swap them out for brand new ones and recycle the old ones through our reclamation service.

How does the reusable system work?
02

How does this whole reusable packaging thing work?

It’s pretty simple really. You send your goods out into the world using one of our reusable satchels. The recipient keeps what’s inside, and returns the satchel back to you, postage-free. And from there, the process starts all over again.

What kind of businesses can get involved?
03

Can any business get in on this action?

Sendala is perfect for online fashion, apparel and beauty brands, fashion rental businesses, beauty and lifestyle subscription services… Whether you’re sending items from store to store, store to customer, or even customer to store, our satchels have got the goods.

How durable are your satchels?
04

Are these reusable packages tough and safe?

Even though they’re made from lightweight fabric, Sendala satchels are deceptively strong. As well as being sturdy and water-resistant, they’re designed to survive 40+ loops.

What’s the environmental benefit of switching to reusable packaging?
05

How does this help the planet?

Reusable packaging is a real all-rounder. It produces less waste, emits fewer emissions, requires less energy to recycle and manufacture and even uses less water during production, recycling and disposal. Not to mention the fact that it reduces our reliance on raw materials and cuts back on the amount of plastic going to landfill.
